A lonely Frankenstein (Christian Bale – The Dark Knight, The New World) travels to 1930s Chicago to ask groundbreaking scientist Dr. Euphronious (Annette Bening – American Beauty, 20th Century Women) to create a companion for him. The two revive a murdered young woman and The Bride (Buckley – Hamnet, The Lost Daughter, Wicked Little Letters) is born.
What ensues is beyond what either of them imagined as the pair become outlaw lovers in a wild and combustible romance and cook up a plan to start a radical new race of the undead.
