In March last year, legendary composer Ryuichi Sakamoto passed away. In the years leading up to his death, Sakamoto could no longer perform live, but, determined to leave the world with one final performance, Sakamoto curated this concert film, featuring just him and his piano. The twenty pieces performed wordlessly narrate his life through his music – from his popstar Yellow Magic Orchestra period to his magnificent Oscar and Bafta winning Bertolucci film scores.
