Join Palace Pals membership

Anyone can become a Pal of the Palace!

With Palace Pals Membership, save money and enjoy exclusive membership benefits, whether you’re new to discovering the wide world of film or a veteran cinema goer.  All Pal memberships last a full year and there’s one that’s right for you; sign up for a year or automatically renew, or go to our Gift Shop to gift an Pal membership to your fave film fan.

The three different types of Pal membership are named after the lovely colours of the marine blue velvet seats, golden amber curtains and crimson walls of the Palace’s cosy auditorium: ‘Marine’ Pals usually visit the Palace a few times a year, ‘Amber’ Pals visit more regularly and ‘Crimson’ Pals just can’t stay away! In all cases, when you become a Pal yourself or gift it, you contribute towards helping the Palace not only survive but thrive, continuing to bring you the best Hollywood and independent film from around the world. Thank you.

Palace Pal Membership FAQs

Is there a Pal membership card?

Yes. Cards are credit card size, colour-coded Marine, Amber or Crimson. They include member name, membership expiry date and member’s unique 4-digit customer reference number (this is the number generated automatically when a customer first sets up a Palace customer account online using their name and email.)  Cards are either posted to new members or collected from the cinema during opening hours.

How do I claim my complimentary Pal member tickets?

Book tickets online, in person or over the phone as usual; at the final stage of the process, i.e. at check out, insert your 4-digit customer reference number. You will receive an email from the Palace confirming your booking and the use of your complimentary tickets.

How do I claim 10% off food & drink?

Just show your Palace Pal membership card. Please note: Membership cards must be shown for the 10% members’ discount; we aren’t able to apply the discount without them.

When are the Pal members’ screenings?

In November you are invited to the ‘Palace Pick’ screening selected by Palace staff. In May it’s the ‘Members’ Vote’, when members can choose which film they’d like to see. Both screenings start off with drinks and snacks and the opportunity to enjoy the cinema in a private event and meet other Pals. Screenings are also introduced. Please note: Members’ screenings are for members only. Palace capacity is limited and member’s screenings are first come, first served.

Can I share my Pal membership with someone else?

Pal memberships are for the named Pal only, not exchangeable or transferrable. Please note that we offer joint memberships.

When can I book a reduced fee private hire?

Private hires can be more or less any day or time. We ask a minimum of six weeks’ advance notice of the hire date. Full info on Palace hires is here.

How do I claim the 40% off a new 12-month MUBI subscription?

When you set up a new membership we’ll email you a confirmation. This will include the link to use for setting up your new MUBI subscription. Please note: The MUBI subscription offer is for new memberships only, not for renewals.
